Contagious Positive Thoughts & Reaching Goals! #Finance #Psychology #Motivation
Ever felt happy after meeting an old forgotten friend or without any reason, sad after watching a sad movie like Titanic or Endgame? Ever felt like buying something which many others are buying and because it’s trendy?
Yes, we all have experienced that and it’s
not a rare thing these days as we all seem to imitate others without even
knowing!
This phenomenon covers finance, motivation and psychology.
The
share market
or the stock market is a good example of how behavior of the crowd affects us
and the economy too. We usually buy the rising stocks because others are buying
it or recommend it. When a lot of people buy a stock, the price increases and
thus, making the imagination of a high priced stock a reality. The only problem
occurs when we buy a popular stock and then all of a sudden, due to some news,
people start selling it and forcing us to sell as well if we don’t want to
incur a loss. The same happens in the real estate market and commodities market
too.
When we are happy, we make others happy too
or at least add a seed of happiness in their mind which can make the mood
better. If the other person is angry or upset, at least our neutral mood can
help the other person’s mood to stop being worse. Positive thinking helps us to
guard ourselves from being depressed and also we can act like a medic to heal
the mind of the loved ones. At least being a first aid kit to the people we
care about until a professional help is given if depression or other issues are
severe.
Have you noticed how the ants keep going without halt and how a herd of cows or sheep keep going but a single cow or sheep might get lost or lose the motivation to do it?
Not to mention, the cattle need a human to
guide them to the destination, which could be the grasslands where they feed or
returning to the farm when it’s sunset.
We all need someone to guide us like the
person leading the cattle or the first cow who’s being followed by others.
Sometimes we all need to be a guiding light for someone who may be lost. When
you guide others, you may as well find something useful for yourself too.
As humans, we need to be sure to have the
right guidance and thus, apt research must be done before trusting anyone or
anything. But there are some people we can trust and we should do things that
don’t break their trust. Those people are our parents, grandparents, partner,
spouse, children and good selfless friends who have been with us for years
without any hidden selfish motive.Certified Financial Planners is an example in the Financial world while Licensed Psychiatrists and Psychological counselors are examples in Personal Psychological world.
Our guide and motivation can be a role model
like our parents, teachers, historical figures or even businessmen and celebrities
who overcame difficulties in their life. If we think of achieving something, we
try to gather information about that profession, we start following
personalities and organizations related to that field and thus, we attract the
goal and it becomes a reality in future at the right time. It doesn’t happen
automatically but through our own curiosity and learning, we attract the end
results of our hard work. This is why you see people on Instagram and Twitter following accounts
relevant to their interests and career goals.
It is important to have a positive role model and a motivating guide. Sometimes we also need to just use our wisdom which we learnt through interactions with others, through books and education. Because sometimes nobody can answer your questions but you. That's why meditation and clear thinking is important. If you are with positive people, read positive things then you start thinking about positive thoughts and try to find solutions instead of being depressed. If you are a positive person yourself, you will have the same positive impact on others and your situations along with other people's situations may not change but the mind of everyone remains relaxed and thus, together you are able to solve the problems positively.

That’s why we see champions of sports and academics
rise from adverse situations in life. Being focused on a goal and staying
positive about achieving it helps to turn the dream into reality.
Hard work combined with Optimism and being with positive people who stay focused on the goals and dreams instead of problems can help you get closer to your goals. Positive people don't ignore the problems, they try to stay calm and solve the problems!
Your behavior is contagious and spreads like a forest fire!
"Research from University of Oklahoma and University of Texas at Austin shows that when individuals dislike the same people or find a common dislike of something in general, all of a sudden those individuals have a bond that easily turns into a friendship because it’s a connection.(sic)"
That's not me saying it, you can read the Michigan State University Article about it (Click for Source).
