Keeping the New Year Resolutions Through Smaller Goals

Image
Happy New Year! 2020 is here!  New Year New Goals, right? We all make New Year Resolutions but often we fail to keep them. Why is that? It could be because the goals are not clear and lack planning. Here's how to have a better chance of achieving your New Year Resolution: 1. Have Realistic Goals: It's good to dream big but if we set goals that are impossible to achieve in one year, then we will only get stressed and feel like we can't achieve anything, so it's better to set realistic goals. Example: Instead of reading 100 books a year, decide on 10 most interesting ones first and try to finish them. 2. Break goals into smaller tasks: Like the last point, create steps and smaller tasks that lead to the big goal that you want to achieve. Like with the example of the book, make a goal to read at least 2 pages of a book daily and then go on increasing the number of pages as your capacity increases. 3. Write it down & place it where you see them:

We all have challenges in life and with challenges, comes stress and and fear. With experience, the fear reduces because of the wisdom and practice of handling challenges. In this blog, I share an approach used by me to handle any challenge. Quick ways to minimize panic and fear when faced with any challenge: 1) Know the challenge and get the facts What is the problem? How is it affecting you? Try to gain some information from the concerned persons related to the problem. Even from books or the Internet, if possible. Knowing the situation is battle half won 2) Know the solutions available Is this a challenge commonly faced by others? Are there any solutions for this? Can I find more information about this from others who faced the challenge in the past? Like the problem itself, the solutions can be found on the Internet, from friends, teachers, colleagues or superiors. In some cases, we find solutions in auto biographies, travel books, self help books or article

5 Types of People that Enrich Your Life: 1. Cheerleader: Supporting everything you do without question. Sometimes we do need that kind of unconditional positive support.Wants you to stay positive and keep doing things that you love. They're very rare kind of people because they don't demand anything in return but simply like being connected with you because you provide happiness and motivation in their life, as much as they motivate (and often push) you to do the things you want to do, without any fear. 2. Realist: Supports you but points out your mistakes and wants you to improve. Never makes you feel that you can't do it but want you to think from all sides. These type of people try to make you realize the situation as it is without any false praise. They are the best critics because they praise the good and provide honest feedback in the form of constructive criticism. 3. Teacher: Not just real teachers from school, college or company train

5 Tips to Get More Done in Life!

TL; DR (Too Long Didn’t Read) Short & Sweet Article. 5. Stop Multi-tasking Start Smart Tasking Many things done at the same time might take longer to complete and every task might suffer from your lack of attention. 4. Make a ‘To-Do’ List and place it where you see it every day! Without a list, we forget things or don’t prioritize important tasks. If the list is in a book or on a phone, it’s forgotten easily. So, place the list on a wall where you’ll see it every day. 3. Don’t overthink, just do it! Sometimes, we just keep thinking about doing something, but put it off for too long. At least, we can start a task’s first step or the planning process. 2. Do it today (Unless, the task is scheduled for future) Don’t put the task for tomorrow, if it can be done today. Do it now, if it can be done right now. Putting tasks for tomorrow or later sometimes never get them done. 1. Believe in yourself! You can do it! No task

Contagious Positive Thoughts & Reaching Goals! #Finance #Psychology #Motivation

Ever felt happy after meeting an old forgotten friend or without any reason, sad after watching a sad movie like Titanic or Endgame? Ever felt like buying something which many others are buying and because it’s trendy? Yes, we all have experienced that and it’s not a rare thing these days as we all seem to imitate others without even knowing! This phenomenon covers finance, motivation and psychology. The share market or the stock market is a good example of how behavior of the crowd affects us and the economy too. We usually buy the rising stocks because others are buying it or recommend it. When a lot of people buy a stock, the price increases and thus, making the imagination of a high priced stock a reality. The only problem occurs when we buy a popular stock and then all of a sudden, due to some news, people start selling it and forcing us to sell as well if we don’t want to incur a loss. The same happens in the real estate market and commodities market too.
