5 Steps to Deal with Any Challenge without Fear!

We all have challenges in life and with challenges, comes stress and and fear. With experience, the fear reduces because of the wisdom and practice of handling challenges. In this blog, I share an approach used by me to handle any challenge.

Quick ways to minimize panic and fear when faced with any challenge:

1) Know the challenge and get the facts

What is the problem? How is it affecting you? Try to gain some information from the concerned persons related to the problem. Even from books or the Internet, if possible. Knowing the situation is battle half won

2) Know the solutions available

Is this a challenge commonly faced by others? Are there any solutions for this? Can I find more information about this from others who faced the challenge in the past? Like the problem itself, the solutions can be found on the Internet, from friends, teachers, colleagues or superiors. In some cases, we find solutions in auto biographies, travel books, self help books or articles too. That's why we often hear business leaders advising us to read books daily. Wisdom of the author helps you in a subtle way.

3) Know your own abilities:

Try to find out what can be done with the current situation  and with whatever you have right now. Before you can learn a new skill or get something else to solve the problem, try to find out whether you can solve the problem using the things or abilities you already have.

4) Plan:

From the available info, try to make a plan that will solve the problem or a plan that can help you reach the solution. All the research and info can't help you unless you do something with it. Take your time, gather your thoughts, check all the facts and then try to create a plan to face the challenge. How, what and where you are going to do it? Whom to ask help if needed and what to do if the current plan fails?

5) Execute :

You have all the info and a plan, so, now try to implement it. If fit works then fine, if not, try to find more information about the challenge or a problem and create another plan.

Overall, if we focus on finding solutions instead of focusing on a challenge or a problem, then we won't be as stressed. Stress is good till it becomes a constant feeling. Never let the stress make you feel down but use it as a motivation to get things done quickly and perfectly.

All the best!!
