Post COVID Offices - Will the Offices Disappear?

As Corona virus is still going strong, and the vaccine not coming very soon, there's an important question- Are the traditional offices a thing of the past now?

Well, not really as we all know how still our essential workers, medical professionals, politicians, defense forces, the police, and many IT companies are working with minimum staff, and safety precautions, the offices are not gone per say, but the working conditions will be different than before.

I think that most of the positions will be converted to remote/at home ones, and if not, the staff will be much less than what it was. Only bare necessary, so that there's enough distance between people to avoid the spread of the virus unknowingly as we know that the aerosols containing the virus strands can land on the other person's body and if unknowingly that person touches the nose/eyes/mouth, the virus will enter the body. Besides, the risk of breathing in the aerosols while talking.

Masks, sanitizers, heat sensors will be also mandatory. Lunch together may be possible but we'll see people sitting far away from each other. The working staff will mostly look like those working at factories, gas & oil facilities, mining, and of course, the medical professionals at the hospital. PPE kits and essential equipment will be reserved for the actual medical facilities for sure, but at least expect to wear engineering grade safety glasses, hand gloves, 3 layered cotton mask, full sleeved clothing, full pants/traditional wear covering the entire legs, socks, and boots covering the feet.

So, the thing to remember is that many people from polluted countries used to wear masks, and gloves for their own safety even before the Corona virus outbreak. Professionals like doctors, engineers, and factory workers also wear PPE kits, and have been trained for their safety. We just have to learn the basic things, and get used to the new clothing style for the safety of the self, and the others around us. Maybe consider it as the new 2020 fashion! There have been designer masks out too, but just remember to have it 3 layered at least, and without a valve or a hole. Follow the guidelines laid out by your local Govt., Health Professionals, and of course, WHO.

Stay safe, stay productive, and stay positive. And if possible, stay home as much as possible to break the chain, and flatten the curve. Be proud of essential workers, and their services!
